Day in the life:

Last year they undertook a process to rewrite Beacon which is their legacy order platform into a new product called Link.  They are bouncing back as a company so he was given the money to accelerate getting this done.  It's a database centric application so need microservices skills and wants people that understand best practices in code design.  Intent is to move everything to cloud. A lot of the architecture is done but there's still lots to still to be done so there these people will be involved in architectural discussions

Some will be working on migration tools and some could be on a the large rewrite project.  This is all for the new offering called Link.  Link provides the tools the providers (customers) use to interact with Labcorp. Will be a very fast paced agile project.  Will be heads down dev mostly but would like people that have the ability to participate in design sessions.
