Location: Coppell, TX

Position: Senior Analytics Systems Developer (Remote till after Covid-19 restrictions are lifted)

Duration: 6+ month Contract to Perm (Please make sure candidates are willing to be converted after 6 or more months, thanks!) Also, provide salary expectations.


Visa: USC or GC with good comm skills; would also consider GC-EAD


Here’s what to look for:

  • 10+ years of .NET experience,
  • 5+ months of C# version 8 is required
  • 3 – 3+ years of .Net Core required
  • .NET 5 Preview is a BIG PLUS
  • Machine Learning is a BIG PLUS
  • Analytics experience is a PLUS
  • Programming Algorithms knowledge
  • APIs and Data Pipelines
  • Good communication and presentation skills is a BIG PLUS

Interview Process:

L1 Interview is a panel – phone or webex.  Review technical capabilities and resume with group of peers and managers.

L2 interview is with hiring manager – VP of Analytic Systems.  Candidates will directly report to him.  He is decision maker for this.

Hiring manager will do a technical assessment with candidate – will last about an hour. 

There are 7 core competencies – 5 are specific to development and 2 are data specific.

He will look for depth and degree of proficiency for each competency and rate them on a scale of 0 to 10.  0 has no knowledge and 10 is expert level.  He is looking for candidates in the 6.5 to 9 level of proficiency.

Note does not expect candidates to have all 7 – just 5 out of 7.


A Sr. Analytic Systems Developer for our preferred financial client in their Irving, TX location. The qualified candidate will be a strong team member and possess at least 10 years' experience in developing software including experience with scripting, proficiency with one or more general purpose languages, and experience with version control.  A bachelor’s in Computer Science or applicable experience is also required.

The Analytic Systems Developer will be part of a newly formed Analytics systems team, and have an opportunity to work on enterprise projects across different parts of the company. These projects will connect data and solve problems for the business. This is an agile role with a focus on using different tools and technologies to ensure that company’s business teams are best serving their customers. In this role, candidate will work with decision makers and domain experts as the team builds the infrastructure and tools needed to lead the industry.


  • Develop proof-of-concept applications and services to test feasibility
  • Integrate different systems to improve productivity, reliability, and transparency
  • Transform data to optimize performance and ease of use
  • Develop code and processes that are repeatable, modular, fault-tolerant, well documented, and easily maintained
  • Monitor performance of solutions and provide support when required
  • Read and write data between APIs and our internal data warehouse
  • Maintain balance between pragmatic and deeply rigorous solutions depending on business context
  • Work with vendors, and within the analytics organization to deliver on solutions


  • 10+ years' experience in developing software with primarily C# and .net. Experience with scripting (such as JavaScript, Python, Selenium, PERL), version control (such as Git, TFS, Subversion), object-oriented languages (Java, Python) and common software design methodologies (MVVM, microservice architecture).
  • Experience developing end-to-end, scalable data driven solutions, including frontend on the desktop (WPF, Windows Forms) and web ( Core, React, Vue.js) and backend systems integration (such as SQL server)
  • Experience with .net Core required, and .net 5 preferred
  • Experience with C# V8
  • Experience in data pipelines and APIs
  • BA/BS in computer science or applicable experience


Job Description:


  • Analytic systems team operates like a start-up – the pace at which they participate is very fast and they work with all areas of the organization – looking for ways to improve the business functions and gain an advantage over their competition
  • They use newest technologies – he called them experimental technologies.  For example they are using .Net 5 preview – which was released on June 10th of this year
  • Their Developers are on .NET 5 – absolute latest – At a minimum developer must be strong with .Net Core
    • .Net has version 1, 2, 3, then went to Core, and now added 5
  • They are also leveraging artificial intelligence (AI knowledge is a plus but not required)
  • Experience with .net core and exposure to .net 5 – and C# V8 (came out in 2019) – this is requisite.
  • Lease framework is .Net Core
